Jake Pavelka on dancing with the stars, but not for the cameras!

Submitted on March 8, 2010 No Comment

Perhaps in response to remakrs that he’d rather stay in the spotlight than in the company of his fiancé Vienna Girardi, Jake Pavelka has claimed, on an interview with The Insider, that he isn’t doing Dancing with the Stars to catch the public eye.

Dancing With The Stars

The claim that ‘it just fell in his lap’ by the pilot who seems to going down the same golden road as Melissa Rycroft who not only took full advantage of the potential DWTS offered her – so far down that she now co-hosts the show with Tom Bergeron. Jake, who will partner with the young Chelsie Hightower, maintains that it is the competition that draws him and keeps him in DWTS and never was or will be the publicity which is inevitable when participating in a show of such magnitude!

He was quoted as saying: “To dance at that level and have the opportunity to train with professionals, it is life a life’s dream, so it is conquering a dream” while adding that he doesn’t even have a publicist and is the only ‘Bachelor’ cast member without one.

However, the question remains, whether Vienna will mind holding up their lives for Jake and the show. Their initial plans was that Vienna would relocate to Dallas to stay with Jake. However, those plans have been sidetracked and the couple is to stay in Los Angeles until Jake gets eliminated or wins the show.

Vienna was listed as saying that she would be present on every night her fiancé would perform, a statement which is rather similar to Rycroft’s partner!

After DWTS, Jake intends to return to aviation because he was stated as saying that he loves flying and was born to fly! A resonant assertion to this statement is in his excitement when meeting Buzz Aldrin who is one of the cast members – and this in spite of the fact that his fellow cast members include Palmela Anderson and Erin Andrews.
